The 2014 NYC WINTER JAZZFEST
Tuesday January 7th - Saturday January 11th 2014
The NYC WINTER JAZZFEST turns 10 years old in 2014. In celebration of this milestone Winter Jazzfest is expanding to five nights from January 7th through January 11th. The festival will be presented in 9 different venues and will feature over 90 different groups including over 400 musicians. Winter Jazzfest upholds the continued mission to showcase top quality jazz to industry professionals, avid jazz fans, and new audiences. Winter Jazzfest was established in 2005 with the goal of introducing underexposed artists – those that impacted the jazz scene of that period -- to professional presenters attending the Arts Presenters Conference (APAP). At that time, jazz groups were underrepresented, although they were (and remain) culturally essential to the continued development and future of the music and audiences. Winter Jazzfest is pleased to continue our mission of offering a forum for presenters and music enthusiasts to experience and support the future of jazz.

Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum
One of America’s leading historic, cultural and educational institutions. Opened in 1982, the Museum has welcomed more than 10 million visitors. The Museum is centered on the aircraft carrier Intrepid (CVS-11), one of the most successful ships in US history, and now a national historic landmark and one of the most unique attractions in New York City. In 1943, Intrepid was commissioned and served proudly in World War II. She went on to serve as one of the primary recovery vessels for NASA, three tours of duty off Vietnam, and submarine surveillance in the North Atlantic during the Cold War. Today she continues her service as a premiere educational center and a monument to all who have served our nation in uniform.

NYC Craft Beer Festival - Spring Seasonal
Returns To Lexington Armory
In the tradition of the Grand Tasting, each attendee will be given a tasting glass and have the opportunity to try unlimited 2 oz tastings of approximately 150 craft beers from all over the country. Food will be available for purchase for all attendees and there will be a selection of retail vendors on-site. VIP and Connoisseur attendees will have the first hour to themselves to sample these great brews and Connoisseurs will have a private lounge with rare selections and passed hors d'oeuvres throughout the session. We will also be offering expert seminars for all attendees (first-come first-served) that highlight key aspects of the craft beer industry including pairings, business, and more!

Events in Central Park New York City 2014
Central Park is a large public, urban park in the heart of New York City and is host to approximately twenty-five million visitors each year. Central Park has been a National Historic Landmark since 1963. The park was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and architect Calvert Vaux. While much of the park looks natural, it is in fact almost entirely landscaped. It contains several natural-looking lakes and ponds, extensive walking tracks, two ice-skating rinks (one of which is a swimming pool in July and August), the Central Park Zoo, the Central Park Conservatory Garden, a wildlife sanctuary, a large area of natural woods, a reservoir with an encircling running track, and the outdoor Delacorte Theater which hosts the "Shakespeare in the Park" summer festivals. 85% of the park's operating budget comes from private sources via the Central Park Conservancy, which manages the park pursuant to a contract with New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.
