About Our Event How to Find Us

The New York International Numismatic Convention is the United States;the most prestigious numismatic event targeting the needs of the world and ancient numismatic communities.  The 37th Annual NYINC will be held at fabled Waldorf Astoria Hotel, located at 301 Park Avenue, New York, NY  10022, between 49th and 50th Streets. Our dates will be January 3-11, 2009.

The NYINC will feature a bourse area consisting of 100 of the leading specialists in world and ancient numismatics and will be held on the 18th floor meeting room level of the Waldorf Astoria..  The auction sessions will be held in two locations, the Park Avenue Suite on the 4th floor, as well as the Norse Suite, on the 18th floor. Please consult the Schedule of Events for each specific auction to determine its location. Our event will also include a full range of educational programs and meetings as well as multiple auction sessions cataloged and conducted by a number of the leading numismatic houses in the world, including: Heritage Galleries and Auctioneers; Gemini, Ltd., a joint venture of Harlan J. Berk Ltd. and Freeman and Sear; Classical Numismatic Group; The New York Sale, a joint venture of Baldwin’s Auctions, Ltd;  M&M Numismatics; Fritz Rudolf Kuenker and Dmitry Markov; La Galerie Numismatique and  Ponterio and Associates, Inc.  Joining this incomparable lineup of numismatic auction houses for the first time in 2009 will be a joint venture consisting of Germany’s Numismtik Lanz and Italy’s Numismatica Bernardi, S.R.L. In addition, the well known numismatic literature dealer George Frederick Kolbe will conduct a sale in his speciality area. In all, 13 different dealers, either singly or in collaborative efforts, will be contributing their expertise and numismatic drawing power to our auction presentations in 2009. No other numismatic convention can equal the incomparable scope and breadth of the NYINC auctions, presentations that quite literally attract dealers and collectors from throughout the world.
